Bookworms Unite! | 22nd Annual Shelter House Book Sale

Check it Out! Our annual Shelter House Book Sale will be held on March 30, 10:30am – 4pm and March 31, 12pm – 4pm at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, Bldg. C. We'll have thousands of gently used books and your favorite music and movies on hand. 

ADMISSION IS FREE! But dedicated book worms can purchase $10 Early Entry passes for admission before the general public at 10 am.

Looking for more opportunities to give back to Shelter House during the annual Book Sale? Be sure to stop by our Coffee Shop when you arrive and grab a coffee & delicious pastry before you peruse the grand selection. We'll have "Housing is a Human Right" shirts, designed in partnership with RAYGUN, mugs & canvas totes featuring illustrations by artist Claudia McGehee all available for purchase. Ever wanted to have coffee or grab a bite to eat with an author? Information on our silent auction items including "Coffee with an Author" will be available soon!
